Phase 1 & 2 Testing

This Sunday at 12.30pm
PHASE LEVEL ONE

Demonstrate
Footwork; Step & slide, Pendulum
3 types of jab. Horizontal, Vertical and finger jab
Cross and stepping through cross
Left and Right hooks, Upper cut left and right
Roundhouse kick: Right Thai kick, snap round
Side kick
Front kick

2 min rounds (1 min rest)
Round 1: Single shots and combinations up to 3 techniques Hands only
Round 2: Ng Da Combinations (5 techniques) – hands & feet

Single stick: La Coste Cinquo Teros 1: angles counts as called.

Demonstrate 10 exercises in 30 seconds

PHASE LEVEL TWO

Demonstrate:
Triangular footwork
Roundhouse: Right Thai kick, low/high roundhouse, skip roundhouse, snap round
Side kick (2 types) Theep, Oblique, Dum tek, Leg shield, Jeet tek, Cut kick
Inside/outside crescent, Spin heel, spin side kick, spin hook kick, spin crescent, Long knee, skip knees
Shovel hook/ 'Mexican' hook, Overhand, Back fist, ridge hand
Inside/Outside Bob & weave, Inside/Outside Slip, shoulder roll, duck, Cover, Shoulder/biceps stop

3 min rounds (1 min rest) incorporating punching, knees, kicking and display footwork
Round 1: Single shots and combinations up to 3 techniques
Round 2: Ng Da Combinations

Single stick:

Hubud Drill
